Hello, regarding your seitan Al Pastor. While we enjoyed the flavor the texture is way off. Its too tough and chewy and it should be tender. My favourite vegan Al pastor by plant ranch had more spice and its was smoked and tender.

Exceptional and is a great for those who are eating healthy or can’t have meat or just want to do right for the animals. I personally don’t see a difference so if I had a choice I prefer 🌱 plant based.

We bought three bags and froze two of them. Excellent texture. Easy to prepare _ just sauté and char a little. I like spicy but this is a little too spicy for my husband and me. If we add vegan sour cream and guacamole it cools it down a bit on the spicy flavor. When I reheated it I added orange juice to tone down the heat. We have made tacos, tostadas, and burritos. I wonder how it works in a broth/soup. Maybe the texture might change. The S & H was minimal for us since we live 60 miles from the company. The three ice packs were melted and the product was room temperature. Needs more ice and packed more compactly. The three packages were in an HUGE insulated bag. Maybe a smaller and tighter fit would keep the product cold. Plant based 33 years here. I prepare Mexican dishes 2-3 times weekly.
